Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who used to be an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis on the National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree in 1983. In 1985 she received her Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at the US Attorney. The correspondent was a lawyer for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She worked as an associate professor of law with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
